Peachy Spring Shoot at Hutton House with Marit Williams

Inspired by the endless romance of spirea and the fresh blooms of the flaming margarita tulip and daffodils.

I’m always a sucker for spirea, so it was a must have for this spring wedding shoot. Honestly, now that I am thinking about it, all of this shoot is my favorite. I always love a good peachy ranunculus - I feel like they are so versatile and can go with almost any palette. The daffodils are also one of my favorite flowers, and I grew them in my garden so how could I not use them in this shoot (along side TCFE’s)? The flaming margarita tulip is a new one for me, but now I’ll never go back. It’s creamy, yet yellow, and neutral but with the slightest pink notes. I love her. It’s the la belle epoque tulip that is always in my spring designs. It just perfect. If you want it to be peach, she’ll lean peach, if you want her to be more brown, she can look brown. Just depends on what you pair her with, but regardless she’s perfect :) When I first started as a florist, I shied away from more luxury and expensive blooms like sweet pea and I’ll kick myself until my dying day for not using them sooner. They can add SOO much to a design. They are fluffy, airy, whimsical, and their scent is mesmerizing. I’ll never stop using them now :)

This bouquet is one of my all time favorites. She’s ruffly, she fluffy, shes cute, shes whimsical, and best of all - she’s the essence of spring. Please enjoy Marit’s increible photos of this peach & pink spring styled shoot at Hutton House.
