What can I do with my flowers after the wedding in Minnesota?

What can I do with my flowers after the wedding?

  1. I get this question so often. I have finally narrowed down a few ideas for my couples that will hopefully get them started -

  2. Give them to guests at the end of the night (but please don’t take your florists' rentals :) find a cup, bowl, or rubber band to transfer flowers to.

  3. Dry Them - take your bouquet home and hang it upside down for a week, then place it in a vase or shadow box to enjoy forever. If you want to press them and save that way here are a couple businesses that do it for you @bloomblock @pressedflowershop @floralpreserve

  4. Donating them - this gets a little tricky as most of the flowers are at peak bloom on wedding day and will likely start to die a day or two after the wedding, but it’s an option :) team up with @bluebirds and blooms to make it easy!

  5. Team up with a photographer to create a heirloom photograph with your bouquet. This way you’ll never forget what types of blooms you had in your bouquet. Here are a few photographers that can do that for you - @trishallison @Merit Williams @Amanda Nipoldt

  6. Resin is all the rage these days. You can make trays, jewelry, ring holders, coasters, anything! Here are a couple businesses that specialize in resin designs - @bloom.block

  7. If nothing else, give them back to me (or your florist). I compost everything I can so it won't get sent to a landfill - giving the flowers back to me will help me grow more flowers the next year at @minnefarmco
